Voters in Nevada complained that their ballot had been cast before they went to the polls, raising questions about Clark County's electronic voting machines. Voter Joyce Ferrara her husband and several others said when they went to vote for Republican Sharron Angle, her Democratic opponent, Sen. Harry Reid's name was already checked. On another note teachers' union representatives were offering gift cards to people to get them to vote for Harry Reid. It is even more disturbing and may be possible that they are using their influence and authority as educators to entice students on behalf of Reid. When the powerful are threatened, they'll do anything to retain their position. It's clear now that Harry Reid's campaign is even willing to skirt the laws of Nevada to do it. Touch-screen calibration is an easy thing to CHANGE.

One roving calibrator can calibrate machines to make Republicans select Democrats with very little effort. Statistically, if this were a genuine machine calibration error, then the error should be distributed between both sides of the ballot. Instead every single one of these "errors" favor Democrats. As a genuine 'error' that is statistically improbable in the extreme. I have repaired computers and calibrated touch screens for going on 15 years now, and while it's true that touch-screens do lose calibration, it is very rare that a system always goes off calibration in the same direction. The fact that whenever these machines go off calibration it marks "Democrat" when people select "Republican" tells me that this is more about electoral fraud than poor calibration practice. Insiders on Capitol Hill are buzzing about an upcoming New York Times exposé that will detail an alleged affair with a leading Republican. Sources say the Times is looking for the right time to drop the story in October to sway the election, similar to how the Times reported during the 2008 presidential campaign on an alleged John McCain affair that supposedly had taken place many years before and that was flatly denied by the woman in question.
