Democrat Senator Frank Lautenberg said none of his Senate colleagues would
"have the chance" to read the entire final version before the bill comes up
for a final vote. CNSNews.com asked members of both parties whether they had read the full, final bill,
not one member could say, "Yes."
Roland Burris - Obama's successor in the Senate was baffled by the thought of actually
reading the entire bill, as did his press secretary.
“I think it’s about 800 pages,” Burris's press secretary said before
laughing. “We’ll do the best we can.”

After fear mongering about another great depression and pushing Congress
for weeks to hurry up and pass the massive $787 billion stimulus bill,
Barack
promptly took off for a three-day vacation. During his
campaigning Obama said his Administration would have transparency.
Quote "Any bill that
comes before me. I want the public to have 5 days to review it online." The
public got 10 hours beginning around midnight Thursday to the Friday
Vote.

The votes by
Senators Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania, Susan Collins and Olympia J. Snowe of Maine
pushed the pork bill forward.
The National Republican Trust PAC
is pledging maximum financial support to any Republican who challenges those 3
senators in a Republican primary. Susan Collins is a top 10 receiver of lobbyist money for
congressional candidates nationwide. Perhaps lobbyists recognized that they were
contributing to a safe bet and someone they will be working with. Arlen Specter insisted
that the “stimulus” include $6.5 billion for “medical research.” His
receipt of a $6.5 billion political payoff proves that this bill was not about stimulus
and jobs, but about political shenanigans.
