John Allen Muhammad the mastermind of the 2002 Washington, DC area sniper attacks was executed on Nov. 10  2009 in Virginia.
His accomplice, Lee Boyd Malvo is serving a life sentence. The media avoided using any mention of "terrorist attack".

Beltway sniper Lee Malvo might be the most famous illegal alien ever detained and released by the Immigration Service on the lying promise that he would attend U.S. Immigration Court hearings. But detaining and releasing aliens like the young Jamaican and his mother on minimal immigration bonds is nothing new. There are many questions about what was reported. The initial spin immediately after the arrest indicates that Islamic Radical Connections and terrorism will not be seriously investigated and will be supressed by the main stream liberal media. They will zero in on guns, gun control and the role of the Sniper in the Military.

The Montgomery County, Md., Police Chief announced a message to the sniper on 10/24 over National TV and Radio 4 hours before the arrest. Moose said "our inability to talk has been a concern for us as well as for you," noting several attempts to establish a connection.

"You have indicated that you wanted us to do and say certain things," Moose said in his message to the sniper. "You asked us to say, "We have caught the sniper like a duck in a noose." We understand that hearing us say this is important to you."
The solution, Moose said, "remains to call us and get a private toll free number established," or write to a post office box address.

The police chief's references apparently were related to a note found at the site of Saturday's shooting near Richmond, Va., and another at Tuesday's Montgomery County attack both of which included a demand for $10 million.

The last cryptic message from Montgomery County Police Chief Charles Moose to the Washington-area sniper referred to a Cherokee Indian story about an arrogant rabbit that was duped by the duck he tried to catch.

"You have indicated that you want us to do and say certain things. You've asked us to say, 'We have caught the sniper like a duck in a noose.' We understand that hearing us say this is important to you," Moose said late Wednesday at a televised news briefing, called so authorities could release information on two people sought for questioning in the 13 sniper shootings.

In the ancient story, passed down orally through generations of Cherokee Indians, a rabbit brags that he can catch a duck. He throws a noose over the neck of a duck, but it flies away with the rabbit hanging on. Eventually the rabbit must let go, landing in a hollow tree stump. The conceited animal has to eat his own fur for food and is embarrassed by his appearance when he finally escapes.

"His boastfulness got him in trouble and eventually destroyed him," said Tera Shows, spokeswoman for the Cherokee Nation, based in Tahlequah, Okla. Chad Smith, principal chief of the Cherokee Nation, said in a statement: "The rabbit is a trickster that always gets himself in trouble by his own devices." Ultimately, the killer blamed for shooting 13 people, 10 of whom died, around Washington over the last three weeks may be less duck than rabbit, Shows said. "It does look like [the sniper] maybe is the rabbit," Shows said.

Reverse spin- Moose is the Rabbit...he ate his own fur. The Duck was another sniper who ratted on Muhammad and got away with 10 Million in an electronic transfer to a Middle East Bank Account. Are Muhammad and the 17 old the only guilty parties in the tragic attack on innocent civilians?
