The Council on Foreign Relations was founded in 1921 by Edward Mandell House, who had been
the chief advisor of President Woodrow Wilson. Actually, he was more than just a prominent
aide of the President; he dominated the President. He was referred to as Wilsons
"alter ego" (other self), and was credited for being the most powerful
individual in the United States during the Wilson Administration from 1913 until 1921.
House was a Marxist whose goal was to socialize the United States. In 1912, House wrote
the book "Philip Dru: Administrator" in which he stated that he was working for
"Socialism as dreamed of by Karl Marx."

Bilderberg founder Prince Bernhard himself once said, "It is difficult to re-educate
people who have been brought up on nationalism to the idea of relinquishing part of their
sovereignty to a supra-national body."
The 120-strong gathering, known as the Bilderberg group after the Dutch hotel where it
first met in 1954, has spawned countless conspiracy theories, fuelled by the gathering's
off-the-record nature and the renown of its participants.

President Bush is in Maastricht, Netherlands today and tommorrow as the secret Bilderberg
meeting is taking place in Uberfahrtstr, Germany.
The Bilderberg's are world leaders that have been meeting in secret, at various locations,
for over 50 years.
The 53rd Bilderberg Meeting, a gathering shrouded in secrecy, allegedly took place this
past weekend near Munich, Germany, at the Dorint Sofitel Uberfahrt hotel.
Several members of Congress have been said to be on the guest list in the past, including
Sens. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-Texas), Chris Dodd (D-Conn.), Jon Corzine (D-N.J.), Chuck
Hagel (R-Neb.) and Evan Bayh (D-Ind.).
Sen. John Edwards (D-N.C) took a break from the campaign trail to attend the meeting last
year.
Hagels office confirmed that he had attended the conference in 1999 and 2000.
While none of those members attended this years conference, Ken Mehlman, chairman of
the Republican National Committee, did.
He was invited by the conference, and he was pleased to attend, RNC press
secretary Tracey Schmitt said. She added that she did not have information on what
specifically was discussed at the meeting.
Of course not. Participants are forbidden from disclosing what they discussed.
Richard Haass, president of the Council on Foreign Relations, was also confirmed to be in
attendance. About 30 of the 130 attendants this year were from the United States.
According a release provided to The Hill, the Bilderberg Meeting dealt with a range of
vague topics including: European-American relations, Russia, Iran, Iraq, the Middle East,
Asia, economic problems and nonproliferation.
This years meeting opened with a discussion led by former Secretary of State Henry
Kissinger about the meaning of freedom, according to a May 1 article in the
Financial Times.
The last Bilderberg Meeting in the United States was held in Chantilly, Va., in 2002
Mainstream media has helped keep it a secret by not reporting on the meetings. All
Bilderberg discussions are conducted in absolute secrecy. To guarantee solitude, the Group
customarily books an entire hotel in a secluded location
Bilderberg proponents argue that this cloak of secrecy is vital to ensuring an honest and
vigorous debate.
Those who attend Bilderberg meetings do so in a private rather than official capacity.
From former CIA director John Deutch to New Jersey Governor Christine Todd Whitman, each
guest attendee is hand-picked by the Bilderberg's organizing committee to join in secret
deliberations about the propagation of Western hegemony in the New World Order.
