The Tea Party is a term used for groups of Democrat, Republican and
Independent citizens concerned about the growing size and fundamental
disconnect between our government and its citizens. They are a part of the
silent majority who are frustrated that the small but most vocal groups get
the most attention from the government and main stream media in the form of
tax monies.
While many members of the mainstream media have been negligent in covering
what has become a nationwide, grassroots movement, activists across the
country have taken it upon themselves to make sure the word is getting out.
The Tea Party effort is a small piece of a much larger movement aimed at
restoring the basic free-market principles our country was built on. The
Constitution, for the most part, is being ignored by our current government
and they intend on working together to correct the problem.

Term Limits
Congress members shall be limited to 12 years of service to either the House
of Representatives or to the Senate.
Secure the Borders
The federal government shall provide security, by any means necessary, on
every border to prevent individuals or groups from entering the United
States illegally.
Flat Tax, Fair Tax, No Tax
A new tax system, or removal of any existing tax system, shall be put in
place of the current unfair redistributive system.
Balanced Budget
Congress shall balance the federal budget every fiscal year.
Energy Independence
Congress will allow all means necessary to acheive Energy Indpendence. This
includes, but is not limited to, tapping domestic oil reserves, nuclear
power generation, shale oil extraction, wind, solar, and any and all viable
options to remove the dependency on foriegn oil and energy.
